Requirements for students

  • Must Attend an Historically Black College & University (HBCU)
  • Valid student ID or enrollment verification required
  • Minimum GPA of 2.0 or equivalent academic - Good Standing

2.0 - 2.5 GPA $50

Meet the founder, Born and raised in Chicago, Ms.Bradshaw Earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Psychology at Langston University. Although facing financial hardships throughout college , completion of Passing the Cap and Gown started with dedication, support of mentors, educational programs, and her community, she was able to continue her education and succeed. Programs such as True ladies, and Pretty Brown Girls, helped inspire her passion for empowering young African American student seeking safe creative spaces where students feel seen, supported, and encouraged. Passing the Cap & Gown was created to remind students that they do not have to navigate college or life alone.
